For five years, I served as part of the creative force behind the LA Kings as their agency of record. During that time, I touched every aspect of the brand’s visual identity—from large-scale out-of-home campaigns across Los Angeles, to digital content that connected with fans online, to in-stadium experiences that brought the energy to life on game day. Being embedded in every creative touchpoint gave me the opportunity to help shape the team’s voice, elevate the fan experience, and deliver bold, cohesive campaigns season after season.

LA KINGS CREATIVE CAMPAIGN 2019-20

For the 2019–20 season, we broke tradition and brought bold, vibrant colors into the LA Kings brand for the first time—injecting new energy into a historically black-and-white visual identity. To connect the team more deeply with its city, the campaign integrated iconic Los Angeles landmarks, blending the grit of hockey with the culture and vibrancy of LA itself. The result was a dynamic, city-powered campaign that energized fans, stood out across out-of-home and digital platforms, and reintroduced the Kings as a bold part of the fabric of Los Angeles.

LA KINGS CREATIVE CAMPAIGN 2018-19

For the 2018–19 season, we took a playful approach by designing the campaign around a postcard-inspired aesthetic. Each piece highlighted visually impactful regions and neighborhoods across Los Angeles, blending the team’s identity with the city’s diverse culture and energy. The campaign positioned the Kings as not just LA’s hockey team, but an integral part of the city’s fabric.
