APPAREL
I’ve had the pleasure of freelance designing apparel and merchandise for companies including Nordstrom, PlayStation, Spencer’s, HLZBLZ and Tee Shirt Central. Each project has been an opportunity to create fun, engaging graphics tailored to different audiences, age groups, and styles.
Nordstrom
For this set of tees i was tasked with creating some fun and young designs for Father’s Day and Back to School. For the Father’s Day line, I explored a different voice, leaning into wit, parody, and celebration. The variety in tone ensured there was something for every type of dad, while maintaining a cohesive, graphic-driven style.
The Back to School designs mix humor and attitude with kid-friendly visuals. Quirky illustrations like “A Dinosaur Ate My Homework” to graphic twists like “Too Cool 4 School” and “Study Overload.”
Across both collections, my goal was to keep the designs eye-catching, versatile, and accessible for different ages and audiences, while having fun with storytelling inside each graphic.
Playstation
For this PlayStation 4 collection, I focused on translating the brand’s most recognizable elements into apparel and accessories. The button pattern designs use an all-over print of the PlayStation symbols in the system’s signature blue, while the light beam graphics take inspiration from the console itself, incorporating its sleek glowing line in a clean, modern way. To add energy, I created a controller pattern wallet with layered outlines of DualShock controllers that give a sense of movement. Across the collection, the goal was to keep the designs iconic, wearable, and instantly connected to the PlayStation brand.
Destiny
For the Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris collection, I pulled inspiration directly from the game’s rich iconography and lore. The graphics highlight elements like the Veist weapons brand, the all-seeing Osiris eye, and Guardian armor, blending them with geometric patterns and distressed textures that reflect the game’s mysterious, ancient-futuristic aesthetic. I experimented with layering symbols, grids, and bold pops of gold and violet to create shirts that feel both wearable and true to the Destiny universe. Each design was meant to give fans a piece of the game’s mythology they could carry into the real world.
National Parks
I was tasked with designing this series of hoodies based on America’s National Parks. Each design highlights a unique park, from the rugged cliffs of Acadia and the arches of Utah to the peaks of Glacier and Grand Teton and the towering trees of Sequoia. I used vintage-inspired typography, bold silhouettes, and warm, natural color palettes to capture the spirit of the outdoors. The goal was to create wearable souvenirs that celebrate the beauty and character of each park while feeling stylish and modern.
HLZBLZ
I designed apparel graphics for HLZBLZ, a women’s streetwear brand known for its bold, rebellious aesthetic. My work combined striking imagery, playful typography, and strong cultural references to create pieces that felt unapologetic and fashion-forward. From edgy character illustrations to experimental photo-based designs, the goal was to reflect the brand’s voice of empowerment and attitude while staying true to the raw, street-inspired energy that defines HLZBLZ.
